"One of the groups that entertained at the Olympia Farmers
Market during the annual Bluegrass festival in September was the
newly formed Ryegrass. I hadn't heard them before, but having had
my start at Ryderwood some years back, I know every band has to
start somewhere, so I was looking forward to hearing them. I was
delightfully surprised at what I heard. They were great! Even for
being together a short time, they had the organization, the camaraderie
and a truly driving, bluegrass sound. I particularly enjoyed the
harmonies, but their instrumentation was very impressive as well.
I look for this band to be doing great things and I'm REALLY looking
forward to seeing and hearing them throughout the festival season
and beyond."

"Ryegrass sang and played its way into the toe-tappin'
hearts of the enthusiastic crowd at the recent Maple Valley Days
ArtsFest at the Lake Wilderness Center, Maple Valley, WA. The close
harmonies of the instrumentals and vocals elicited eager applause
from young and old alike.
The Maple Valley Creative Arts Council was pleased to host this
accomplished group of bluegrass musicians and looks forward to many
more partnerships with Ryegrass."

"Ryegrass set the mood of the Market on their recent visit
to the Issaquah Public Market. People were stomping their feet,
clapping their hands, and an occasional yahoo! could be heard."
